another catch for van der Merwe, this one at long-off as he lofts the ball straight down the ground for an easy catch
Scotland vs Netherlands, 8th Match, Group B at Edinburgh, Jul 11 2015 - Match Result
Man of the Match Evans: It's nice to take wicket sin any format of the game. i try and keep things simple and stick to the two-three plans we make. Batters will go hard and hard and if you stick to your plans you can get wickets.
Preston Mommsen: We play that brand of cricket where we play hard early on but it didn't pay off, we laid the platform but it wasn't enough. The score was 10-15 above par and our fielding let us down, that was the difference.
Peter Borren: Really good performance, we managed to get a couple of guys got going. We talked about giving ourself a bit of a chance, we'll always go hard in the first six, always. It's a good wicket and I agree with Preston that 175 was par and it might be a good ground for chasing but 190 is challenging. We are a lot happier now, today we played good cricket against a good side.
That's all we have from this match, do keep an eye on the other matches too going on in the Qualifiers. Goodbye and good luck!
Sohan Pandey: "@Scott I know very well. They need to be in top 4 in ICC WC Qualifier or Top 2 in ICC WCL"
