48.5 to GC Viljoen, similar stroke but better timing on this one gets it to Axar who takes an easy catch. Very slow offcutter well above the batsman's head height, but Viljoen goes for it and connects well with decent timing. 232/9
10 | 1 | 46 | 2 | 4.60 | 40 | 6 | 1 | 2 | 0 | |
47.3 to M Shezi, 108 kph, another tame dismissal. Low full toss, wide outside off stump. Shezi gets down one knee and tries to ramp it over the fine leg fielder but doesn't get adequate connection. Ramped straight to the fielder though. 222/8 49.6 to LL Tsotsobe, slog and miss. Good length and straight by Sandeep. Tsotsobe looks to swipe it anywhere he can. But misses altogether and is cleaned up. SA A bowled out of the final ball of the innings. 244/10

8.6 to TB de Bruyn, pressure has got to de Bruyn. Slightly wide outside off, de Bruyn tries to force it through the off side but it is too close to cut and ends up getting a thin outside edge. Too many dot balls resulted in the wicket.. 21/2 42.3 to DJ Vilas, and gone immediately after! Vilas walks across and flicks it in the air with the angle but picks out short fine leg. Very important wicket for India A. End of a sparkling innings from Vilas.. 192/5 42.6 to K Zondo, oh poor decision! Zondo is struck very high on his leg as he tries to flick the length delivery trough the leg side. He missed it and there is a massive appeal. Not a great decision by the umpire. Zondo was high on his toes too.. 192/6 46.2 to Q de Kock, great innings de Kock. He holes out to long-on as he tries to swipe one over midwicket. Skews it off the outer half of the bat, and Axar takes an easy running catch at long-on. Tired shot, but a terrific innings. Take a bow QdK.. 213/7

15.1 to D Elgar, got im this time, poor shot from Elgar. Pushed through quicker on middle and spins back in towards the left-hander. Elgar gives himself room to try and work it through the off side but he is beaten by pace and flight and misses the cut. Just clips the leg stump. Big wicket for India A.. 44/3

26.6 to OA Ramela, gone this time! Slightly short again outside off, turns back in to Ramela who tries to cut it through point again. Skids onto him though and takes a thin edge, good take by Samson there. Stayed low with the ball, rising with the bounce. Good timely wicket for India A. 92/4

37.2 to MA Agarwal, Agarwal nicks off for 130. Good length and angling away, Agarwal wants to run it down to third man. He does not get enough bat on it, Vilas moves to his right and snaps it up with no fuss. Consolatory wicket for South Africa A. 243/2

34.4 to UBT Chand, Elgar has a rather sheepish smile. Chand has missed a rank long hop. He skips back and winds up for a big pull, but does connect. He is struck on the back pad in front of middle and off. The forefinger goes up and the 219-run opening stand has been broken, finally. 219/1 |
