That's a wrap for our coverage of this one, though do stay tuned for Madushka Balasuriya's report, and remember to follow our coverage of Tuskers vs Gladiators tonight. Cheers!

That result means that Jaffna Stallions will definitely finish third, and will play the loser of the Colombo-Dambulla game tomorrow in their semi-final. Colombo will finish top of the group if they win that. The most important game comes later this evening, with Kandy and Galle playing each other in a virtual quarter-final.

Don't be deceived by the margin of victory: this was always Colombo Kings' game to lose. Laurie Evans hit the first hundred in Lanka Premier League history, and the second of his career, to underpin a total of 173 for 4, and despite a slight scare from Thisara Perera, the Kings always looked likely to defend that total. Qais Ahmad and Izy Udana were the stand-out bowlers, while Russell made important breakthroughs despite being very expensive.

Russell to PWH de Silva, FOUR runs

Russell shuffles in and bowls this off the wrong foot, and Hasaranga carts it away for a meaningless four through wide long-off

Russell to PWH de Silva, no run

nails his yorker this time. Hasaranga sits deep in the crease, and can only steer this to point with an open face

Russell to PWH de Silva, (no ball) SIX runs

uh oh! Russell oversteps, and Hasaranga heaves the slower-ball bouncer over fine leg for six with a tennis-style forehand. They couldn't, could they?

Russell to PWH de Silva, no run

length outside off, inside edged into his boot and that should be the game for the Kings. Stallions relying on wides and no-balls now

Russell to PWH de Silva, no run

offcutter, another swing and a miss and they need three sixes off three balls from here

Russell to PWH de Silva, SIX runs

slightly full of a length, pace off, and Hasaranga nails it over long-on for a massive six! Down at 65mph, Hasaranga cleared his front leg and waited for it, sitting deep and clearing it

Russell to Lakmal, 1 bye

slower ball on a length, over the top of the stumps as Lakmal swings and misses. Hasaranga scrambles through for a bye

25 required off the last over. Dre Russ to bowl it.

Excellent over from Udana. Fantastic display of death bowling

Udana to PWH de Silva, no run

shuffles about in his crease, Udana lands his yorker outside off and Hasaranga can only swing and miss!

Udana to Lakmal, 1 run

slightly misses the yorker, but Lakmal can only slap the slot ball out to long-off

Udana to PWH de Silva, 1 run

yorker, dug out into the leg side, and Mathews misfields, allowing them through for a single

Udana to Lakmal, 1 run

yorker outside off, squeezed out to third man

Udana to Lakmal, FOUR runs

wide on the crease, in the slot, and nailed down to long-on. Priyanjan just needs to get his body behind it, but makes a mess of it, and parries it over the boundary for four. Sloppy

Udana to PWH de Silva, 1 run

yorker, dug out to long-on. Hasaranga had called for two, but it was never on

33 off 12. Izy Udana to bowl the 19th, looking to put the game out of reach.
