Satish and Badrinath sink Rajasthan

Abhishek Kaushik's debut List-A ton, followed by a five-wicket haul from Arnab Nandi set up Railways' 39-run win against Uttar Pradesh in Nagpur. Railways, after being inserted, posted 255 for 9. Their innings was built around Kaushik's 118-ball 100, and his two big partnerships, with Arindam Ghosh and Mahesh Rawat. Kaushik put on 88 with Ghosh (28) for the second wicket, before combining with Rawat (46) for a third-wicket association which yielded 87 runs. RP Singh was the pick of Uttar Pradesh's bowlers, taking 4 for 50, while Kuldeep Yadav and Piyush Chawla chipped in with two apiece.

Umang Sharma led Uttar Pradesh's chase with a 71-ball 59, and at 154 for 3, they were well-placed to hunt down the target. However, Umang's run-out in the 36th over triggered a collapse that saw the team lose their last seven wickets for just 62 runs. Nandi subsequently wiped out the tail and finished with 5 for 46 to bundle Uttar Pradesh out for 216 in 47.4 overs.

A 163-run partnership between Ganesh Satish and S Badrinath was the cornerstone of Vidarbha's huge win against Rajasthan at the old Vidarbha Cricket Association Ground in Nagpur. The pair's stand helped the team recover from the loss of two early wickets to compile a competitive 285, despite a six-wicket haul from Pankaj Singh. Badrinath slammed nine fours during his 86, while Satish stroked his way to a third List-A hundred with 10 fours.

Ashok Menaria (60) and Puneet Yadav (44)'s 100-run stand had Rajasthan comfortable at 128 for 3 in the chase, but Menaria's dismissal triggered a slide that resulted in the loss of seven wickets for just 23 runs. Ravi Thakur was the chief instigator behind the collapse, picking up 3 for 18, while Swapnil Bandiwar, Akshay Wakhare and Ravi Jangid snared two scalps each to bowl Rajasthan out for 151 and complete a 134-run victory.

Shreevats Goswami hit his fourth List-A hundred and Veer Pratap Singh took his maiden List-A five-for as Bengal downed Odisha by 25 runs in Kalyani. Goswami opened the innings after Odisha chose to bowl and remained unbeaten on 110 off 145 as Bengal posted 220 for 6. He put on 73 for the fourth wicket with Subhajit Banerjee (33) and an unbeaten 75 for the seventh with Saurasish Lahiri (27 not out). Goswami hit ten fours while Basant Mohanty picked up 3 for 46 for Odisha.

Natraj Behera and Govinda Podder helped Odisha recover from 18 for 2 but Veer Pratap struck twice in the 24th over as the visitors slipped to 88 for 5. Behera and Arabind Singh then put on 98, and Odisha went into the final six overs needing 35 with six wickets standing.

However, Behera fell to Ashok Dinda for 77 off 114 and Laxmi Shukla took out Arabind for 50 off 70 in the next over. The lower order crumbled without any fight as Odisha were bowled out for 195 in the 47th over. Veer Pratap finished with 5 for 23 from 8.4 overs.

Assam crushed Tripura by seven wickets and 106 deliveries to spare in Kolkata. Asked to bat, Tripura never recovered after Arup Das and Abu Nechim blew away the top order for 26. Rakesh Solanki and Yogesh Takawale made thirties while Nirupam Sen Chowdhary scored 50 before Tripura were dismissed for 160 in the 47th over.

Rishav Das and Dheeraj Jadhav went cheaply in the chase but Parvez Aziz and Gokul Sharma settled the issue with an 84-run stand for the third wicket. Aziz made 72 off 88 while Gokul scored an unbeaten 66 off 78 to take Assam home in the 33rd over.

A century from Mayank Agarwal helped Karnataka crush Andhra by 134 runs in Secunderabad. Agarwal muscled 22 fours and three sixes during his 136-ball 162, and was involved in two big partnerships that lifted the score to 330 for 7 - 147 for the third with Manish Pandey (75), and 88 for the fourth with Karun Nair (31).

A few Andhra batsmen made starts, but the captain Mohammad Kaif was the only one to raise a half-century, scoring 54 off 63 balls. Abhimanyu Mithun picked up 4 for 18 and Udit Patel 3 for 18, as Andhra were dealt blows at regular intervals, sliding from 114 for 3 to 196 all out.

A century from opener Amogh Desai and a fifty from Darshan Misal helped Goa recover from a shaky 64 for 4 to a two-wicket win in the last over against Kerala in Secunderabad. Goa's win overshadowed the efforts of captain Sachin Baby, who smacked a 90-ball 100, and debutant medium-pacer Basil Thampi, who took 6 for 51 during Goa's chase.

Goa put Kerala in to bat and, despite quick wickets at the start, the team posted 283 for 7, built around Sachin's century and his partnerships with Amit Verma and Raiphi Gomez. Harshad Gadekar took five wickets for Goa but was also their most expensive bowler, giving away 74 runs in his 10 overs.

Thampi then threatened to derail Goa's chase, taking three in the sixth over to leave the side at 36 for 3. Desai and Misal built the platform for the chase with a 149-run stand for the fifth wicket before Thampi wrested back the advantage with the wickets of the two batsmen.Amit Yadav's unbeaten 31-ball 37 then took Goa over the line, helping the side make a winning start.

A strong batting display from Tamil Nadu, powered by a century from Abhinav Mukund, set up the team's 47-run win against Hyderabad at the Gymkhana Ground. Mukund's eighth List-A ton, a 142-ball 139, featured 11 fours and two sixes and lifted the score to a mammoth 334 for 6. Mukund was well-supported by Baba Aparajith (66) in a 144-run partnership, and later by Rajagopal Sathish, who whacked an unbeaten 79 from 40 deliveries during a 118-run stand for the fifth wicket.

Tirumalasetti Suman drove Hyderabad's chase with a rapid century of his own - 136 off 119 balls- and Praneeth Kumar chipped in with a handy 68, but both batsmen were dismissed in successive deliveries, dragging the team down to 268 for 5, a position from which they never recovered. L Balaji hurt Andhra's innings by taking 3 for 55, while M Mohammed and Yo Mahesh both collected two wickets to dismiss the team for 287 in 47.2 overs.
