Veteran Western Warriors paceman Jo Angel has became only the second player in Sheffield Shield/Pura Cup history to take 400 wickets.
Angel claimed a career-best 6-35 in Queensland's first innings to move to second on the all-time list of wicket takers in Sheffield Shield/Pura Cup history.
Angel moves into the illustrious company of legendary leg spinner Clarrie Grimmet who is the leading wicket-taker with 513 wickets for Victoria and South Australia.
Angel, 34, is the oldest player in the Warriors squad and has played 98 Sheffield Shield/Pura Cup games.
His 400th victim was rival Queensland captain and fellow fast bowler Michael Kasprowicz, on the second day of the Pura Cup match at the WACA Ground.
