Big wins for Ashdod A and Dimona A, Lod Rangers start season with victory

The second week of local league action saw Lod Rangers open their campaign with a comfortable 5-wicket win over Division 1 new-comers Petah Tikva having been set 132 in Lod on Saturday. In Division 2 action on Saturday, Dimona A and Ashdod A both recorded lob-sided victories; the former defeating city rivals Dimona C by 134 runs having scored 183 batting first in Dimona, whilst the latter beat Kiryat Gat by 174 runs in Ashdod, bowling them out for just 71 after setting a target of 246.
