As expected, Sourav Ganguly has been retained as captain for India's Test series at home against New Zealand, as well as the following one-day international triangular series involving New Zealand and Australia.
The Indian team for the Test series will be announced on October 4, after a meeting of the selectors at Rajkot, where a tour game between the touring New Zealanders and India A is currently in progress.
