Gordon Greenidge and Desmond Haynes, the most successful pair of West Indies
opening batsmen, will captain the two sides in a 35-overs-a-side match as part
of Tourism Celebration Week.
At stake is the Malcolm Marshall Memorial Trophy and an MVP award for the match
which will start at 10 a.m. at Queen's Park.
Greenidge is leading the Tourism South team which includes last year's MVP
Richard Stoute.
Haynes is the captain of the Tourism North side which also features former
Barbados player Adrian Grant.
The umpires are Stanton Parris and his son, Martin.
A steelband will be in attendance and an open invitation has been extended to
Mac Fingall and Patrick Gollop.
