HKCA seeks Men's and Women's Team Managers for 16th Asian Games

The HKCA is seeking Team Managers for the Hong Kong Men's and Women's cricket teams that will participate at the 16th Asian Games to be held in Guangzhou, China during 12-27 November 2010.

The Hong Kong Cricket Association is inviting volunteers for the following posts :
Two Cricket Team Managers, one for the Men's Asian Games Squad and one for the Women's Asian Games Squad, to take full charge of all matters surrounding the squads. These are voluntary positions.
Each Team Manager should possess extensive international cricket experiences, time, administrative and organizing skills.
Job duties include :
- to report directly to the newly formed Asian Games Preparatory Committee the progress of the Asian Games Squad
- to help to form the Squad
- to monitor individual performance of the squad members
- to review regularly with the coach the composition of the Squad
- to assist the selection of the final Asian Games Teams
- to identify any PR and promotion opportunities for the Squad
- be able to travel with the team to Asian Games.
Please send your application to the HKCA by email to hkca@hkabc.net on or before 16th October 2009. The appointment will commence immediately once appointment is confirmed and will last until the end of the Asian Games.
The 16th Asian Games will be held in Guangzhou, China during 12-27 November 2010. Forty-one events are scheduled to be contested at the Games, including cricket (to be played in Twenty20 format) which will feature for the first time.
