The Hong Kong Cricket Association invites applications for the position of:
NATIONAL COACH
(3-year appointment commencing September 2007*)
Responsibilities:
The appointee will report to the HKCA Executive Committee through the General Manager and relevant sub-committees for the following:
- Personally responsible for coaching and development of the HK Senior and U19 teams;
- Supervision of all HKCA-appointed coaches and monitoring of training and preparation of all HK national squads at all age groups including women's teams;
- In coordination with appointed Team Managers and the General Manager, organization of training programmes and arrangements for tours and fixtures for all national squads;
- Design, implementation and supervision of a comprehensive coach development programme; and
- Supervision of all junior cricket development programmes.
Requirements:
- ICC recognized Level 3 Coaching Certificate or equivalent; and
- Resident in Hong Kong (assistance with relocation will be provided, if necessary).
First Class/International playing/coaching experience will be an advantage.

*The successful applicant will be appointed on a 3-year, renewable contract subject to satisfactory performance to be reviewed on an annual basis.
