Speaking of the expectations in view of the recent performances in

On the chances of defending the title, the former Indian all rounder
said ``Our main aim is to get to the semi-finals first. We have
England, West Indies and Holland in our group. I think it should not
be a very difficult task for us to make it to the last four stage and
from then on we will have to play really well to win the Cup.''
Singling out Pakistan as a possible threat to the Indian campaign, he
said ``The Pakistanis will be there with a new look team and it is
always tough to beat them.''

Karim said that he had recovered from the injury and added that the
trip to Chennai would be a routine check-up. He also added that he has
