At Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai, March 30, 2010. Mumbai Indians won by four wickets. Kings
XI Punjab 163 (20 overs) (S. E. Marsh 57; Zaheer Khan 3-34, S. L. Malinga 4-22); ‡Mumbai
Indians 164-6 (19.3 overs) (S. Dhawan 50, S. S. Tiwary 31; R. S. Bopara 3-31). MoM: S. L.
Malinga.
The final over began with six needed; with three balls remaining, Brett Lee's wide went
racing to the boundary to seal Mumbai's win, and Punjab's sixth defeat in seven. Lasith Malinga
had earlier bowled ferociously to restrict Punjab to a par score despite a half-century from Shaun
Marsh, in his first match of the tournament, and 21 extras, the most in the season.
