Kenya have announced a 14-man squad for the tour of Zimbabwe which starts this Thursday during which they will play five ODIs in nine days.
Steve Tikolo has returned from club duty in Bangladesh to lead the side, but there are some familiar names missing. Martin Suji has been rested to allow an injured knee to recover in time for the Bangladesh tour which follows immediately after this one, and Ravi Shah is still battling to overcome a similar injury which has kept him out of the game for more than a year.
Collins Obuya, who spent a few weeks under the supervision of Terry Jenner in Australia, has been omitted because there are concerns that he is still not ready to resume top-flight cricket.
All three young players who attended the ICC Winter Training Camp in Pretoria this winter which was run by Andy Moles, the former Kenya coach, are included.
