Dawid Malan, the 21-year-old left-hander, has agreed a long-term contract with Middlesex, while Murali Kartik has re-signed as their overseas player.
Malan caught the attention with a magnificent, unbeaten 103 against Lancashire in the Twenty20 Cup quarter-final after Middlesex had been 21 for 4. He had attracted interest from other counties, notably Warwickshire, but has now opted to stay at Lord's.
Kartik, meanwhile, has formed an impressive spin partnership with Shaun Udal this season which was a key part of Middlesex's Twenty20 success.
"I am delighted and honoured to be back at Middlesex for the third year in a row," Kartik said. "I'm looking forward to the Stanford Super Series and the Champions League and helping to bring more success next year. With the potential and young talent at the club we can look forward to exciting times and I am very much looking forward to it".
Chief executive Vinny Codrington added: "Dawid is a real star of the future and one to watch, and Kartik has been a great overseas signing for us and I'm sure will continue to bring experience, intelligence and motivation to our predominantly young squad."
Ed Joyce remains the one major player yet to decide on his future as Middlesex try to keep their squad together ahead of a club restructuring, which will see the appointment of a managing director.
