MAS Active signs up as new clothing sponsor

MAS Active - a Division of MAS Holdings Limited which ranks within Sri Lanka's "Top 3" apparel exporters - has been appointed as the new clothing sponsor of Sri Lanka Cricket for two years from 1st October 2005. MAS Active, who focuses on the manufacture of sports, active and leisure wear, are currently one of the few strategic supplies to "Nike".

The contract covers the supply of playing/ training clothing and also casual/formal wear not only for the Senior National Team but also for the other National Teams. Sri Lanka Cricketers would be provided with clothing in high performance fabric designed for moisture management similar to clothing manufactured for International brands like "Nike" hereafter.

Sri Lanka Cricket also acknowledges the contribution made by their previous sponsor -Trendy Connections who also improved on the quality of material used and met the requirements during their sponsorship.
