The following are the ICC Champions Trophy media arrangements for tomorrow, Friday 27 October.
Ahmedabad
In Group A, England will play West Indies at Sadar Patel Stadium in a day/night game on Saturday, starting at 1430 local time. Tomorrow England will hold a practice session in the ground at 1000 local time. There will be a media conference at 1200, to be attended by England captain Andrew Flintoff. This will take place in the conference hall at the North Stand. Only ICC-accredited media are invited.
As the West Indies played today, their practice session is optional for the players and they will not hold a media conference. For any media enquiries, contact Imran Khan, West Indies media manager at +9199 79935375.
The on-field umpires for the West Indies v England will be Daryl Harper and Simon Taufel. Third umpire will be Aleem Dar and fourth umpire will be Amish Saheba.
Those people requiring clarification on any arrangements for Ahmedabad can obtain it by contacting Sami-ul-Hasan, the ICC Communications Officer, who is in Ahmedabad. (+91 98 73 80 80 34)
Mohali
In Group B, Pakistan play South Africa at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Mohali tomorrow. It is a day/night match, starting at 1430 local time.
Shortly after the match, media conferences will be held in the Dhruv Pandove Hall in the PCA pavilion with both captains and the man of the match in attendance. Non-rights holding television crews who have ICC accreditation will be permitted access to the conferences.
The on-field umpires for the game will be Mark Benson and Billy Bowden. Third umpire is Steve Bucknor and fourth umpire is Rudi Koertzen.
The interval between innings in this game has been reduced from 45 to 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, members of the Australian team will be practising at the PCA Stadium tomorrow from 1330 local time ahead of their match against India here on Sunday. A squad member will be made available for a media conference at a time yet to be determined (probably after training). Australian media manager Graeme Vimpani will have more details tomorrow. His details are listed below.
Working journalists who have difficulty gaining entry to the ground for the media conferences tomorrow should call Brian Murgatroyd (+91 98 73 80 80 33) or Paula Warren (+91 98 73808045) who will be in attendance.
On Mohali match days from now until the end of the tournament, working media are required to have not only their ICC tournament media accreditation but also a PCA pass in order to gain access to the venue. Those bona fide media without that PCA pass can obtain one by presenting themselves at a welcome desk outside Gate 1b before the match, where their credentials will be confirmed. Media will also be issued with a match ticket when they arrive. From Sunday onwards, the India v Australia game, media will be allocated specific seats in the press box so those journalists who have not already indicated their intention to cover should do so by emailing Brian Murgatroyd by close of business Friday (brian.murgatroyd@icc-cricket.com)
If any member of the media encounters difficulty in getting near Gate 1b because they lack a PCA pass then they should contact either Paula Warren, the Rushmans accreditation manager at the venue, on +91 98 73808045, or Brian Murgatroyd, the ICC's manager - media & communications, immediately (+91 98 73 80 80 33).
Group A is made up of hosts India, Australia, England and the West Indies while Group B's sides are New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa and Sri Lanka. It should be noted that following New Zealand's win over Pakistan in Mohali yesterday, Sri Lanka cannot now qualify for the semi-finals and have therefore returned home from India.
All the teams' movements and availability to the media can be obtained as follows:
