Powered by an five-wicket haul from Narayan Kambli, his best first-class figures, Goa shot out Himachal Pradesh, overnight on 112 for 3, for 212 before reaching 117 for 5, 248 runs ahead, by the end of the third day at Panjim. Paras Dogra's first first-class fifty lifted HP before becoming the fifth wicket to fall at the score of 155. Immediately Kambli got into the act restricting HP to small total.
