Wynnum-Manly off-spinner Scott O'Leary will make his debut for the XXXX Queensland Bulls in Wednesday's day/night Mercantile Mutual Cup clash with the Western Warriors in Perth.
O'Leary is the new face in the Bulls side which will travel to Perth on Sunday to prepare for the repeat of last year's Mercantile Mutual Cup Final which the Warriors won after the Bulls had threatened to pull off a spectacular victory.
The 22-year-old O'Leary replaces Clinton Perren, who played in the previous Mercantile Mutual Cup match against NSW last month.
Adam Dale, who missed the loss to the Blues with a shoulder complaint, comes back into the side with allrounder Brendan Creevey holding his spot due to the absence of paceman Ashley Noffke with a heel injury.
O'Leary spent today helping the Queensland Academy Of Sport to a seven-wicket win over the South Australian 2nd XI, with the tall spinner taking 3-61 off 35.3 overs to go with his first innings haul of 3-16.
O'Leary, who played A grade tennis in Brisbane as a schoolboy, is in his first season in the Bulls squad after being in the Queensland Academy Of Sport squad for two seasons.
