Women cricket body goes to court

KARACHI, May 12: Mr Justice Sabihuddin Ahmad, Judge of the High Court of
Sindh, on Monday fixed pre-admission hearing on a suit filed by Pakistan
Women's Cricket Control Association against a rival association named
Pakistan Women's Cricket Association on May 16.
The suit No 620, filed by the plaintiffs against Pakistan Women's
Cricket Association, came up for hearing before the court, with a prayer
directing the plaintiffs as the only registered/affiliated with the
International Women Cricket Council, New Zealand.
Another prayer made by its President, Shazia Khan, has also prayed to
declare that due to the acts of the defendants, the plaintiffs have
suffered damages to the tune of Rs 10 million. Another prayer made by
the plaintiffs through Farrukh Zia Sheikh was to declare that the
plaintiffs are an official member of the International Women's Cricket
Council along with 11 other member nations.
