The PCB, in keeping with its policy of developing infrastructure in all fields of cricket activity has decided to afford all Grade-I Panel umpires, who have not so far been able to secure umpiring qualification from any recognised institution, to take PIC Examination (written and oral) being conducted by the National Umpiring Council at 10:00 hours on 11th July 02 at the Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.
Similar opportunity will also available to the Test/International umpires, who want to acquire umpiring qualification recognized by PCB, by taking oral examination at the end of the annual refresher Coursed likely to be held in August next.
Two chances will be available for each umpire to obtain the qualification certificate from the PCB/NUC.
