Scotland will host UAE for an Intercontinental Cup match and two World Cricket League fixtures in August. The four-day Intercontinental Cup match will be held from August 9 to 12 at Mannofield Park in Aberdeen, and the same ground will host the two WCL games - which will have full ODI status - on August 14 and 16.
Scotland need a win to spark a frustrating Intercontinental Cup campaign into gear. Rain played spoilsport in two of their three matches so far - against Afghanistan and Hong Kong - while Netherlands beat them by 44 runs in their other match. UAE, meanwhile, have had the worst possible start to their campaign: they have no points after three rounds, having lost all three of their matches so far.
