Hampshire Seconds ended the third day of the Championship match at Southampton in a strong position against Somerset.
The home side took their second innings total to 239 before they were all out. Matt Bulbeck had the impressive figures of 17 overs, 4 maidens, 5 wickets for 33 runs.
When Somerset batted for a second time they had slipped to 70 for 5 by close of play with Arul Suppiah making 23. Somerset need another 154 with five wickets remaining to win the match.
