Sri Lanka v Bangladesh, 2012-13

Wisden's review of the third ODI, Sri Lanka v Bangladesh, 2012-13

15-Apr-2014
At Pallekele, March 28, 2013 (day/night). Third one-day international: Bangladesh won by three wickets (D/L). ‡Sri Lanka 302-9 (50 overs) (M. D. K. J. Perera 56, T. M. Dilshan 125, K. C. Sangakkara 48; Abdur Razzak 5-62); Bangladesh 184-7 (26 overs) (Anamul Haque 40, Nasir Hossain 33*). MoM: T. M. Dilshan. MoS: T. M. Dilshan. It was Bangladesh's turn to triumph in a shortened chase, and they embellished an already encouraging tour by squaring the one-day series. Sri Lanka breached 300 on the back of another Dilshan hundred, despite five wickets for Abdur Razzak, but a confident start from Anamul Haque and Mohammad Ashraful (29) ensured that Duckworth/Lewis favoured Bangladesh when rain interrupted play at 78-1 in the 14th over. Upon resumption, their revised target was 183 in 27 - a further 105 from 13.2. Nasir Hossain marshalled the middle order wonderfully, with a personal strike-rate of 122. It was Bangladesh's fourth win over Sri Lanka in all internationals, and their first away from home.
