Stalwart Udal pockets Hampshire record benefit

Shaun receives benefit cheque

Shaun Udal received a Hampshire record £241,000 cheque from Hampshire Cricket Members Club President Colin Ingleby-Mackenzie, following his benefit year in 2002.

Shaun, who was overwhelmed by the generosity of the Hampshire members and supporters, thanked them all profusely and said he would like to think that there is still plenty of life in the old dog yet, and hopes he will remain a part of what he believes will become a very successful Hampshire team.
