Pakistan's Kiran Baluch's 242 against West Indies - which is also the highest score in Women's Tests - is the highest by an opener.

430 Balls taken for Kamini to make her 192, the fourth-longest innings in terms of balls faced in Women's Tests. It is the longest by an Indian, beating the 407 that Mithali Raj played against England in Taunton in 2002. England's Janette Brittin faced 490 balls for her 146 against Australia in 1998, which are the most faced by a batsman in Women's Tests.

9-85 Bowling figures for Harmanpreet Kaur in this Test, the second-best in a match for India after the 10 for 78 taken by Jhulan Goswami in Taunton in 2006. Harmanpreet's 5 for 44 in South Africa's first innings is the 14th five-wicket haul by an Indian bowler in Women's Tests.

102 Runs made by South Africa captain Mignon du Preez in their first innings, which was only the third instance of a South Africa batsman scoring a century in Tests. The last one by a South Africa batsman came in 1972, when Brenda Williams made 100 against New Zealand in Johannesburg.
