Wasim Akram denies giving an interview

In a letter addressed to the Manager Pakistan Cricket Team, Mr. Wasim has denied having "given out any interview to the members of the press & media in general and specifically to the Daily Dawn & PPI." This is with reference to his interview in Dawn dated April 9, 2002. Mr. Wasim Akram had been asked to explain his position, immediately after the so-called interview had taken place.
