Wellcome Playground League 2007 kicks off

The Wellcome Primary Schools Playground League 2007 will kick off its first match on 14th March 2007 at Po Kong Village Road Cricket Ground.

This year, the first Mainland school will join the competition. The Shenzhen First Yucai Primary School will join the Playground League, with their opening match representing the first cross-border school match since the hand-over of Hong Kong in 1997. The Shenzhen First Yucai Primary School will be competing against six other Hong Kong Primary Schools in the first round robin matches on 23rd March 2007.
