Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara retired out after well-paced fifties, and there were runs for Wriddhaman Saha, poised to keep wicket while M. S. Dhoni recovered from an injury, and leg-spinner Karn Sharma, who raced to 52* in 54 balls.
