7.78 The overall run-rate in the tournament - the second highest among all World T20s, next only to the inaugural edition in South Africa in 2007, where the run rate was 7.99. In the Super 10 matches of this edition, the rate was only marginally higher at 7.84. The average runs per wicket increased slightly as well in the Super 10s, from 23.11 to 23.93. 18-5 Win-loss record for teams that won the toss since the start of the Super 10s. The two semi-finals and the final were all won by the teams which won the toss and chose to chase. The five matches where teams won the toss and lost the game were Afghanistan v Sri Lanka, Bangladesh v India, Sri Lanka v England, West Indies v Afghanistan, and Australia v India. When captains decided to bat first, they had an 8-2 win-loss record, while in chases their record was 10-3. In the qualifiers, though, the teams winning the toss had a 3-7 record. The overall tournament record of 21-12 for teams winning the toss was still the best among all World T20s.
18-15 Win-loss record for teams batting first in the tournament. However, excluding the qualifiers, that record drops to 11-12. 43 Sixes for West Indies in the tournament, the most by any team. England followed with 39, while Afghanistan had 37. West Indies' tally is the third highest by any team in a World T20, after Australia's 57 in the 2010 edition, and West Indies' 49 when they won the title in 2012.

24.12 Joe Root's dot-ball percentage, the lowest among all batsmen who faced at least 75 balls in the tournament. The next lowest was Virat Kohli with 26.34%, while the highest was Soumya Sarkar's 54.12%. Sarkar is the only batsman this list with a 50-plus dot percentage; the next highest is Johnson Charles' 49.07%.
295 Tamim Iqbal's aggregate, the highest in this tournament, and third best by any batsman in a World T20. The highest is 319 in the 2014 edition by Kohli, who was also the second-highest run-getter in this tournament with 273.
