WP pre-season tour hit by national call-ups

The Nashua WP cricket selectors were forced to include several uncontracted players in the squad for the pre-season friendly matches.

This was mainly due to national call-ups. However, this gives the selectors an opportunity to gauge the quality of fringe players. Thami Tsolekile takes over the captainancy. Tsolekile is no stranger to captainancy having captained the SA Under 19 side.
