Zimbabwe's fledgling 15-man squad arrived earlier today in Lahore ahead of a one-day tri-series which starts later this month. Sri Lanka are the third team in the tournament.
The Zimbabwe management told reporters that they regarded the internal conflict which decimated the side earlier in the year as being "behind them", adding that the side had learnt from their two games in the ICC Champions Trophy. They added that they did not envisage there being any security issues while in Pakistan.
They also explained that the experience of ICC tournament would prove to be beneficial, and expressed the hope that there would be no security problem in Pakistan.
