16.5 to DJ Bravo, Mathews makes a tough catch looks simple. Again, the round-arm action takes the ball away from Bravo who looks to hoick that into the leg side but the ball skews into the air towards cover off the outside half of the bat. Mathews runs back and completes a really good catch in front of his chest.. 138/5 18.2 to KA Pollard, and that bail has been removed. Just too good, nothing Pollard can do about it. An inch-perfect yorker and even a finisher as good as Pollard cannot do much with that. Sneaks under the bat of Pollard to hit the off stump. Just losing their momentum a touch here. 147/6

11.4 to AD Russell, big wicket. Very big wicket. Russell has to go. Short on leg, Russell stays in his crease and goes for the pull, but the ball is a bit too high to control. A bit of a top-edge goes towards fine leg where Chandimal settles under it and takes a good catch, never easy to take.. 97/4

6.2 to ADS Fletcher, and he has struck. Siriwardana is the man yet again to provide the breakthrough. fantastic delivery. Tosses one up with insufficient air, pitches on off and skids on to middle. Fletcher tries to nudge to midwicket but misses and is truck right in front. Easy decision for the umpire.. 62/1 8.6 to J Charles, Milinda is running through the top order. Skids on with the arm and strikes Charles on the back foot, absolutely plumb. He misses a straight one and has to go. Wickets falling quickly. 75/3

17.2 to TAM Siriwardana, and there it is. Siriwardana has to go. Narine bowls a quicker delivery outside off, Siriwardana runs at Narine but goes straight past it. Ramdin does the rest in one motion. Is that the final nail in the coffin?. 129/7

13.1 to LD Chandimal, much easier now. Simple catch. Low full toss down leg, Chandi goes back and looks to flick this in the air past short fine leg but gets underneath it and uppishly clips this straight to backward square leg.. 94/3 13.6 to TM Dilshan, what is happening? Absolutely terrific execution from Dilshan. Completely turns around, switches his bat grip and switch hits that with a lot of power through midwicket/deep cover and that was destined for six before the tallest fielder on the field, Jason Holder the substitute gets in front of the ball and holds on to a sharp chance over his head. Stunning cricket. 102/4 19.6 to SL Malinga, cleaned im up off the last ball. Full and straight, Malinga backs away and misses and the T20 series is shared 1-1, WI win by 23 runs.. 139/10

2.5 to MDKJ Perera, poor shot now. Drags that to mid-on. Full and wide outside off, Perera looks to hit this down the ground but takes it towards mid-on instead and the crowd goes silent again. Just the wicket WI needed.. 23/1
4 | 0 | 23 | 1 | 5.75 | 8 | 1 | 0 | 1 | 0 | |
16.4 to CK Kapugedera, sliced to Charles who takes the catch. Full and wide, Kapugedera wanted to go over cover but again wanted to hit that too hard and the ball spoons up the sweeper cover who takes an easy catch running in.. 126/6

12.5 to GSNFG Jayasuriya, what a catch that is. Andre Russell take a bow. Made it look so easy. Makes me think I could have taken that. Full and wide outside off, smashed powerfully to long-off where Russell sprints around and takes a catch diving low to his left. Amazing stuff. 93/2 15.4 to AD Mathews, and Mathews has to go now. Beautifully picked off his legs but straight to that man at backward square leg. Huge huge wicket for WI. The dangerous Angelo walks back. 117/5 18.2 to SMSM Senanayake, Pollard takes it. Relatively simple catch. Full on off, swiped away off the front foot to long-on where Pollard takes a sitter.. 133/8 18.5 to KMDN Kulasekara, and that will be another. Slower delivery outside off, Kulasekara looks to heave this over midwicket but the ball spoons up to third man off the outside edge. 135/9 |
