Jayasuriya's struggle has ended at the Oval, he moved across his stumps and chipped a ball which angled into him towards short fine leg, Taylor took an easy catch. 73/1 10.5 to KC Sangakkara, blinder at point! An absolute blinder! The ball was full and wide, Sangakkara came out of his crease and slashed hard, he hit it well and sent the ball racing towards Pollard who reacted superbly, he jumped to take a sharp catch above his head. 73/2 | ||||||||||

Marshall pushes forward tentatively and gets a bottom edge on to his leg stump, the ball dislodges just one bail, what a disappointment for Marshall. 1/1 0.4 to LMP Simmons, bowled him! Round his legs that too! Mathews bowled a length ball angling towards leg stump, Simmons moved across his crease, trying to glance towards fine leg, he moved too far across and the ball clipped leg stump, that ball actually clipped the underneath of Simmons' thigh pad and deviated on to the stump. 1/2 0.6 to DJ Bravo, that's another one bowled! Mathews pitched the ball on a length outside off stump, Bravo was in two minds, undecided between playing or leaving it, he began to push at it before trying to pull his bat out of the way, the ball went off the inside edge to uproot middle stump. 1/3 | ||||||||||

Sarwan charges Murali and tries to hit the ball out of the ground, he doesn't get to the pitch of the ball and is also cramped for room by Murali's line from round the wicket, he lofts straight to Mathews at long-on who takes an easy catch, he's having a terrific day. 64/5 13.3 to KA Pollard, stumped down the leg side! Murali pitches on leg stump and draws Pollard forward, the ball spins past Pollard's pads, leaving him stranded, Sangakkara anticipates the opportunity and moves to his left and whips off the bails in a flash. 75/6 15.3 to JE Taylor, caught!
