75th and 12th match respectively. Bucknor became fifth umpire
to officiate in 75 matches after England's David Shepherd (92),
Australia's Steve Randell (88), New Zealand's Steve Dunne (88)
and Australia's Tony Crafter (83).
Wasim Akram was playing his 300th match. He became second player after India's
Mohammad Azharuddin (331) to do so. Azharuddin had reached this milestone against
Australia at Dhaka on 28-10-1998.
Irfan Fazil became 133rd player to appear in ODIs for Pakistan.
Irfan's figures (6-0-46-0 @ RPO 7.66) were the most expensive by a
Pakistani debutant in six-overs spell. This obliterated Arshad Khan's
figures of 6-0-43-0 (RPO 7.16) against Zimbabwe at Sharjah on 01-02-1993.

was involved. Now only Sri Lanka's Arjuna Ranatunga has featured in more
century partnerships for fourth wicket- 13. Inzamam went past fellow

partnerships. Just for the record, West Indian Desmond Haynes holds
the record of appearing in most century partnerships for any wicket
in ODIs- 26 for first wicket.
Inzamam-ul-Haq was getting run-out for the seventh time in his
career against West Indies. He thus equalled fellow team mate Wasim Akram's
record of most such dismissals against West Indies. Inzamam nended only 32
matches as against Akram's 60 matches to equal his tally.
Incidentally Australia's Allan Border has been dismissed on most occasion in
this fashion against West Indies - nine times in 61 matches.
The victory was West Indies fourth in as many matches. The last
time West Indies won four consecutive matches was way back in 1998.
In fact West Indies had then won six matches at a trot.
