This is a good move by Pakistan to take the old players out and new young players in

This contracts are not good for team moral all playing 11 players should earn same money.

Shafiq should be in A category and Hafeez should be in B or even C.

Well done PCB on demoting Umar Akmal and Shehzad who needed to be disciplined as well based on coach Waqar Younis's report. Hafeez also needed to be demoted as he can only score on dead pitches and would not be worth much in next tour down under.

very bad treatment of umar akmal and A.Shehzad by PCB,i mean umar akmal made it to playing X1 of t20I's and he's in category D ,seriously ???

  • GenerallyCricket on October 29, 2016, 9:58 GMT

Hafeez is no longer an all-rounder as he can't bowl. And since he is out of form, he doesn't play Tests, ODIs or T20Is. Why is he given an A contract? Mysteries of this universe.

If you cannot Bowl, you cannot Bat and If your name is Hafeez, you will still be in "A" List. and that is not a Joke!

Well done PCB. Umar & shehzad deserve F category. No doubt umar & shehzad are good players but from last decade they are not in form. Young players are performing well and i can call this a good use of merit by PCB. Hope so International Cricket will come to pakistan soon. Peace for all :)

I think PCB can't proper utilize the talent of Ahmed Shahzad and Umor akmal. Both are eligible for all format. I think Micky Arther should some extra work with them for getting to change all format. Otherwise both will not see in international cricket few days later. The duty to PCB see the right way if anyone go to wrong direction.

Umer Akmal and Shahza no doubt very talented and possibly captaining Pakistan by now but wasted because of their ill discipline and attitude issues. PCB equally responsible these boys and many more talented cricketers careers destroyed because of their bad policies. PCB should be dissolved and professional cricketers and coaches should be in charge of Pakistan cricket not old army generals or prime ministers close friends. pakistan zindabad.
