Mohammad Shahzad's action cleared by ICC

UAE pacer Mohammad Shahzad's bowling action was cleared by the ICC after being reported following an ODI against Afghanistan in November 2014.

UAE medium pacer Mohammad Shahzad's bowling action has been cleared by the ICC and he can resume bowling in international cricket.
Shahzad, 35, was reported for an illegal bowling action after the ODI against Afghanistan in November 2014 along with offspinner Salman Farooq.
Shahzad's elbow extension was suspected to have exceed the 15 degree tolerance and he was required to undergo testing. His action was studied at the University of Pretoria earlier this month.
The ICC said the bowler can be reported for a suspect action in future if he failed to replicate the corrected action in a match.
