  • 6 - Wins for Sri Lanka against Pakistan in the tournament. They've lost to them three times. India have won twice against Pakistan and lost thrice.
  • 9 - Matches won by Arjuna Ranatunga out of the 13 in which he captained Sri Lanka, the highest for a captain in the Asia Cup. Moin Khan won all six matches in which he led Pakistan. Bangladesh's Akram Khan lost all six.
  • 16.28 - Irfan Pathan's bowling average in the Asia Cup, with his 14 wickets in six matches in 2004 being the best haul in a single edition. A surprise second is Sachin Tendulkar, who took 12 at 12.25 in the same tournament.
  • 17 - Centuries scored in the Asia Cup, of which Sanath Jayasuriya has managed four. Shoaib Malik is the only other batsman with two hundreds.
