The 16th match of WPL 2026 was a run-fest as Mumbai Indians (MI) beat table toppers Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) by 15 runs. And there was movement on the charts for the Orange Cap and Purple Cap too. Here's the lowdown
Nat Sciver-Brunt, last season's orange cap winner, has zoomed up the run-scoring charts for WPL 2026 and sits at No. 1 among batters with her 100 against RCB on Monday. It was the tournament's first century. She has 319 runs in six innings with three half-centuries and one ton.
Harmanpreet Kaur, Sciver-Brunt's team-mate and the MI captain, is second on the list with 260 runs after scoring 20 against RCB. Smriti Mandhana, the RCB captain, remained fourth on 236 runs after her single-digit return against MI. Phoebe Litchfield of UP Warriorz (UPW) is third with 243 runs while Delhi Capitals' (DC) Lizelle Lee is fifth with 219 runs.
The wicket-takers' list is getting competitive with five bowlers between 11 to 13 wickets. Leading the list is still DC seamer Nandani Sharma with 13 wickets, but two-wicket hauls on Monday for Amelia Kerr of MI and Lauren Bell of RCB pushed them up to 12 and 11 wickets respectively. RCB allrounder Nadine de Klerk is also on 11 wickets, as is Gujarat Giants' Sophie Devine.
