So on that note it's a wrap from us. On behalf of the rest of the team, this is Madushka signing out.

Max Holden is Player of the Match: "We've got a range of skills in our lineup, few of us have been together for a few years now and we know each other's strengths and weakness. And we have match winners all the way down."

Sam Curran: "Really nice to get the win going into [the Qualifier]. I thought it was a good performance, adjusted to the conditions really well. Maxxy played really well, and then Hasan with some nice strikes to finish it off. It was good for some of the batters to have time out in the middle. The games in Abu Dhabi should be really good. We'll watch tomorrow's games and make sure our plans are well set. Think we've had a fantastic season, winning 8 games out of 10. We should be proud of that."

Sikandar Raza: "[sum up the tournament?] Pretty much whatever could go wrong, went wrong. We lost a lot of our good players, we've had 8 replacements this season - I'm not saying the guys who came in weren't good enough, they were good enough - but I felt like we probably deserve to be where we are because we've played cricket that doesn't deserve to qualify. I know we took it to the last game with a slight hope of qualification, but the truth of the matter is the opposition has always played slightly smarter cricket than us, and we haven't adjusted to the conditions. And we just keep coming up short. [new players?] The guys who stayed back, we're used to the wickets and conditions. You cannot expect a new guy to come in after 5,6 games - or 4 games - and be a match winner, because he also needs time to adjust to these wickets. It's not those flat wickets where people come and start scoring. I think 150 is probably a winning total on all the wickets we played on - and unfortunately we haven't got 150. And for me that's the most painful part. And every time we take the rate up to nines and 10s and we just haven't closed it. [positives?] Harmeet has joined the squad and done really well, Adil has bowled really well. I think the whole bowling unit has been outstanding. In the middle there have been good innings from Abell, Rew, TKC, John...batters could be a bit more consistent but I thought the bowling unit held themselves pretty high. And more often than not we did make a game out of it."

10.09pm Time for the post-match presentation...

Zubair Islam : "Holden is the real player of the match today "

10.01pm Max Holden walks off with Nawaz's arm around his shoulder, both with massive grins on their face. It's 8 wins out of 10 for the Vipers now - the first time the feat has been achieved in the ILT20. Nawaz's cameo of 25 off 14 seals the win - and Warriorz' ultimate fate - but it was Holden with his 66 off 46 that anchored the chase so crucially - first with Sam Curran, then as wickets fell around him, and finally with Nawaz to see things through. The Warriorz for their part fought hard, but it always felt a below par total to defend. And on the whole, they just couldn't bring it all together when needed.
