10.3 to Rehan Ahmed, flogged off the back foot, straight to midwicket! A floppy end to Rehan's innings. That was a drag-down from Hasaranga, but sometimes they are the lethal balls. 31.1 to JG Bethell, hammered... straight to the man! Wellalage plucks the boundary catch at head height. Probably wouldn have been six had he not been there. Bethell looks aghast at having given it away. Dragged down and he piled into the pull shot, but put it too close to the fielder. 7.4 to BKG Mendis, gone, drilled to mid-off! Overton bellows in celebration. Mendis is intoxicated by the scoring rate and launches into another drive, only to pick out the man! He clocks himself over the head with his bat in admonishment as he walks off. What a ding-dong battle this is turning into. 85/2 9.1 to P Nissanka, fifty and out for Nissanka! Picks out deep midwicket! Overton claims another big scalp. Short ball, possibly a cutter, and Nissanka takes it on - only to hole out tamely to the fielder in the deep. Wellalage duly obliges but makes a complete hash of timing it, and Jacks has time to circle under a dolly of a catch inside the ring. 252/7 45.4 to JDF Vandersay, scooped to mid-off, Vandersay no more! 5.1 to K Mishara, gets a wicket first ball with a long hop! Jacks looks almost embarrassed to celebrate this. Short, wide and Mishara throws the bat, but only manages to loft a gentle catch into the hands of Rehan Ahmed at backward point. Sri Lanka's belligerent opening stand ends with a whimper. 48/1 31.1 to DM de Silva, flogged off the full length, holes out to midwicket! That's a priceless wicket, maybe even the series-sealing one. Round the wicket from Jacks, tossed up outside off, DDS seemed in two minds about his shot selection, in the end he settled for a powerful haul across the line but picked out the skipper. 14.5 to KIC Asalanka, another gimme, slapped to midwicket! Dreck gets wickets, as the saying doesn't quite go. Dropped short, and Asalanka's eyes lit up. However, he only succeeded in hacking it off the splice to his opposite number, who pockets a casual catch to leave SL four down. 131/4 41.2 to PW Hasaranga, chipped... down the throat of deep cover! Rashid wins the battle of the leggies. Flighted legbreak, turning away from Hasaranga's arc as he looks to go big.
