The Godfather heads east to rendezvous with Off White Thunder, and the boys talk about the 100th Kiwi ODI hundred from Ross Taylor - and the first by Kenny Wadsworth. They discuss the dark horse, hammer blows, the monstrous state of Irfan, a complicated catching competition, the wonderfully maned Pakistanis, and the intoxicating optimism around New Zealand as the World Cup fast approaches. They also get stuck into some Emails From Around the World where they talk cockiness, humility, McGoldrick and droney badness. But they warm up after they find out Brendon McCullum has been named the New Zealander of the Year, and that Anton Devcich is in the 30-man New Zealand squad for the World Cup. The lads are staggered by the discovery of the existence of the Box Cricket League, and wonder how a Kiwi version could get off the ground.
