Karachi Kings 148 for 8 (Warner 60, Khushdil 23*, Wood 3-28) beat Peshawar Zalmi 147 for 8 (Babar 46, Khushdil 3-20, Afridi 3-30) by two wickets
Karachi Kings sealed a thrilling final-over two-wicket victory over Peshawar Zalmi in the last game at their home venue this tournament. A half-century from David Warner held the innings together through a chase of 149, but a stumble towards the end threatened to see them fall at the final hurdle. However,Khushdil Shah and Hasan Ali held their nerve at the death as a pair of boundaries in the final over sealed a morale-boosting win over Babar Azam's side.
Zalmi's best bowler Luke Wood set the tone in defence of the target when he cleaned Tim Seifert up first ball, following it up with the removal of James Vince in his second over. Teenage quick Ali Raza picked up the baton, knocking back fellow emerging player Saad Baig's leg stump when he tried to scoop him over fine leg. But untidiness from the bowling and a gritty innings from Warner kept Kings' asking rate on track in the powerplay.

Gujarat Titans 198 for 3 (Gill 90, Sai Sudharsan 52, Buttler 41*, Russell 1-13) beat Kolkata Knight Riders 159 for 8 (Rahane 50, Prasidh 2-25, Rashid 2-25) by 39 runs
Despite losing the last time they batted first, Gujarat Titans (GT) stuck with their tried and tested method of starting calmly, assessing the conditions and minimising risk. The result this time was a total of 198 for 3 on a tricky surface, a total they defended with ease against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to consolidate their lead at the top of the table.
Led by Shubman Gill's 90 off 55, the GT top three again did the bulk of the scoring, scoring 183 runs among them, after the second-slowest powerplay of this IPL for a side not losing a wicket. On a pitch that had just enough to discourage fluent stroke-play, Gill and B Sai Sudharsan relied on rotation of strike and the occasional onslaught. They added 114 for the first wicket before Jos Buttler provided the finishing touches with 41 off 23.

Durham hampered in bid for victory by weather and injuries to seam attack

Yorkshire 307 (Wharton 69, Bess 66, Raine 4-64) and 277 for 6 (Bairstow 86*, Lyth 53) drew with Durham 427 (Gay 172, Lees 152, White 3-76) by 12 runs
Captain Jonny Bairstow posted an unbeaten 86 as Yorkshire thwarted a depleted Durham attack to secure a Rothesay County Championship draw during a shortened fourth day at the Banks Homes Riverside.
Impressive Bairstow shared half-century partnerships for the fifth and sixth wickets with allrounders George Hill and Matthew Revis during the morning session as Yorkshire, who started the day on 132 for 4 in their second innings - leading by 12 - reached 232 for 5 at lunch.
