Royal Challengers Bengaluru 205 for 5 (Kohli 70, Padikkal 50) vs Rajasthan Royals
Royal Challengers Bengaluru's luck at the toss continued to elude them--losing their fourth straight at home--but they did most other things right. Powered by half-centuries from Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal, and capped off by a brisk late surge from Tim David and Jitesh Sharma, they rallied to a commanding 205 for 5 against Rajasthan Royals - the highest total batting first so far at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
RR might reflect on their bowling effort through two contrasting lenses. Did they do enough to make RCB leave a few runs behind? Or will look back at the finish and wonder if they could've kept RCB below 190, especially after having picked 3 for 7, including both set batters, between overs 15-17?

Red-hot MI go third after Boult and Rohit blow SRH away

Rohit scored his second straight half-century to give MI their fourth straight win

Mumbai Indians 146 for 3 (Rohit 70, Suryakumar 40*, Unadkat 1-25) beat Sunrisers Hyderabad 143 for 8 (Klaasen 71, Manohar 43, Boult 4-26, Chahar 2-12) by seven wickets
Last week, Mumbai Indians (MI) had straightjacketed the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) batters on an atypically slow surface at the Wankhede Stadium. On Wednesday, they did the same in the reverse fixture at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, cantering to a seven-wicket win after keeping SRH to 143 for 8.
Getting to that total was an achievement for SRH after they had slumped to 35 for 5, with Heinrich Klaasen hauling them to something like respectability with a superb 71 off 44 balls. Moderately respectable as the total may have been, it was far from enough to put pressure on MI, who raced to victory with 26 balls remaining, with Rohit Sharma continuing his return to form with a second successive half-century.

Lamb puts England credentials on show as Edwards looks on

New England Women's head coach sees opener add unbeaten 130 to her three wickets as Lancashire crush The Blaze

Lancashire 235 for 2 (Lamb 130*) beat The Blaze 234 (Bryce 70, H Jones 3-38, Lamb 3-42) by 8 wickets
England allrounder Emma Lamb delivered a match-winning performance as Lancashire opened the new era of women's county cricket with an emphatic eight-wicket win over The Blaze in the Metro Bank One-Day Cup at Trent Bridge.
Watched by the national team's newly-appointed head coach, Charlotte Edwards, opening batter Lamb took three for 42 with her off-breaks as The Blaze were restricted to 234 from 50 overs after opting to bat first, before making an unbeaten 130 with the bat as Lancashire chased down their target with five overs to spare.

Zimbabwe 273 (Williams 59, Bennett 57, Mehidy 5-52, Rana 3-74) and 174 for 7 (Bennett 54, Curran 44, Mehidy 5-50) beat Bangladesh 191 (Mominul 56, Shanto 40, Masakadza 3-21, Muzarabani 3-50) and 255 (Shanto 60, Jaker 58, Muzarabani 6-72) by three wickets
Blessing Muzarabani was the architect of the victory with a nine-wicket match haul, but it needed Wessly Madhevere and No. 9 Richard Ngarava to push Zimbabwe over the line after they collapsed when needing less than 50 runs in their chase. Mehidy Hasan Miraz orchestrated the collapse when he picked up his second five-wicket haul in the Test. He also took his 200th Test wicket on the way to a ten-for. Madhevere reverse-swept him to the boundary to get Zimbabwe to their 174-run target.

Multan Sultans 228 for 5 (Yasir 87, Iftikhar 40*, Usman 39, Rizwan 32, Rishad 2-45) beat Lahore Qalandars 195 for 9 (Raza 50*, Billings 43, Fakhar 32, Ubaid 3-37, Bracewell 2-20, Mir 2-26) by 33 runs
Multan Sultans finally got their PSL 2025 campaign off the ground, brushing Lahore Qalandars aside by 33 runs. In the first game at home on a stiflingly hot evening in Multan, Yasir Khan's blistering 87 off 44 balls at the top gave his side an eay advantage they never relinquished. Iftikhar Ahmed's unbeaten 40 from 18 deliveries and cameos through the innings helped Sultans post 228 - the highest-ever score in Multan in the PSL.
Qalandars never batted at the tempo needed to overhaul a total of that size, and Sultans' bowlers were far more unerring in their execution. Michael Bracewell and Ubaid Shah found wickets up top as no Qalandars batter converted a start, and the innings petered out, stopping at 195 for 9.

Delhi Capitals 161 for 2 (Rahul 57*, Porel 51, Axar 34*, Markram 2-30) beat Lucknow Super Giants 159 for 6 (Markram 52, Marsh 45, Badoni 36, Mukesh 4-33) by eight wickets
KL Rahul was unavailable when Delhi Capitals (DC) met Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) earlier in IPL 2025. Coming up against LSG for the first time since they parted ways at the end of the previous season, Rahul anchored DC's chase with a half-century on Tuesday night and guided them home along with his captain Axar Patel.
DC closed the gap with table-toppers Gujarat Titans (GT) as a result, with only net run-rate separating the two teams. DC's win was set up by Mukesh Kumar, who claimed IPL career-best figures of 4 for 33 to restrict LSG to 159 for 6 after they were 87 for 0 in the tenth over.
