A gathering of former captains from both countries will be feted when India take on Pakistan at the Eden Gardens on November 13 to celebrate 75 years of the Board of Control for Cricket in India. Jagmohan Dalmiya, who is chairman of the committee organising the celebrations, said that Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid - who have all led India in the recent past - would be among those honoured during the function which will be held during the dinner break.
Press Trust of India reported that Kapil Dev and Imran Khan, two of the greatest allrounders in the history of the game, will attend the event. The committee will also fete Clive Lloyd, who will be present in his capacity as match referee. The BCCI has sent invites to cricket officials from all the 10 Test-playing countries, and about 100 guests from Pakistan are also expected to be present.
