Scorecard
West Indies Women's bowlers, led by medium-pacer Tremayne Smartt and allrounder Deandra Dottin, laid the foundation for the side's eight-wicket win in Grenada by restricting Pakistan Women to 74 for 9, a total the hosts chased down in 16.2 overs.
Pakistan found it hard to get their innings going after being put in to bat. Opener Javeria Khan was run-out in the second over and Smartt's strikes to dismiss Ayesha Zafar and Bismah Maroof left Pakistan reeling at 22 for 3 in the seventh over. Their position worsened as wickets in the next two overs left them at 24 for 5. The lower order resisted and played out the full innings, but couldn't put enough runs on the board to give West Indies a competitive target. Dottin chipped in with two wickets towards the end of the innings.
West Indies lost their openers in consecutive overs, but an unbeaten third-wicket partnership of 54 between Dottin and Merissa Aguilleira took the hosts to a win, with more than three overs to spare.
