Australia Women 5 for 149 (Kimmince 43, Villani 31) beat Pakistan Women 8 for 86 (Coyte 2-14,Farrell 2-14) by 63 runs
Australia Women secured an unassailable 2-0 series lead with a 63-run victory in the second T20 against Pakistan Women at Kerrydale Oval. There are still two matches left for the visitors to square the scoreline.
Delissa Kimmince led the contributions from the batting order with a steady 43 off 48 balls, before late acceleration from Alyssa Healy and Ellyse Perry took the score to a challenging 5 for 149.
Kimmince and Elyse Villani put up another half-century opening stand after Australia opted to bat. Villani compiled a quick 31 before she was dismissed by left-arm spinner Sadia Yousuf. Kimmince and Meg Lanning then put together 46 for the second wicket to set up the base for a late-overs launch. However, Pakistan fought back with three wickets in the space of three overs, including two in the 16th, before Perry and Healy countered with 30 off the final three overs.
By the 10th over of their chase, Pakistan had stumbled to 4 for 46, their top order succumbing to Sarah Coyte, Erin Osborne and Kimmince. Sana Mir held on and scored 16 off 24 balls but the early damage had put the equation out of Pakistan's reach.
