10.55pm That's all we have from today, folks. Australian fans won't be happy to see the series lost but they will know a lot of first-choice players weren't here tonight and are back home. How their bowlers perform in the last match is something to watch out for. India, meanwhile, get to another home series win, Deepak Chahar is back in the T20I squad, Shreyas is back after a break, and India will be please about things shaping up towards the South Africa T20Is starting December 10. The last match of this series is on Sunday in Bengaluru, so join us again that day. Until then, it's goodbye and good luck from Vishal Dikshit and Deiva Muthu.

Ashok: "@Raj, Its ok. WC comes once in 4 years. Bilateral, every quarter"

Harshit: "Why are Axar and Bishnoi even thinking of a World T20 spot, when everyone knows that Ravi Ashwin will pip everyone and get in the squad" Yikes!

himanshu: "Axar and Jadeja have been bowling consistently too fast, today he varied his pace and even bowled slower so he got results"

Here's the presentation:

Axar Patel is the Player of the Match: Since the first game I had been bowling well, so one-odd over for runs doesn't give me stress. I was thinking how to bowl with my strength, even if one match you go for runs, you stick to your strengths, stay strong mentally and bowl stump to stump. I tried to stay attacking to Wade even if he is left-handed. I had to execute my plans and there was not point being scared what if he hits me. The wicket I got today was off a slower ball relatively, you can't get wickets only one way. That's what I was thinking about in the break; these minor changes make a difference and you know how things work only when you try them out in a match.

SKY: Other than toss everything went our way (laughs). Winning was the big boost, especially the way the boys showed character. Everyone expressed themselves irrespective of the situation, and that's what I told them: be fearless, play your game and we'll see what happens. The plan was very clear, to bowl yorkers on the stumps and we'll take it from there. If that doesn't work, we'll see what happens.

Wade: We just didn't play spin very well in the middle and lost few too many wickets so that left Tim David with too much to do. The bowlers coming in did a very good job, Dwarshuis did a very good job, they did really stand up. We want to continue to learn about the players under the established players since the World Cup is around the corner, so depth around the squad will be key.

Raj: "India: king of bilateralsAustralia: 6x wc champion"

Ravi Bishnoi: When SKY gave me the ball I was ready to bowl. I've been very happy with my bowling all series. The atmosphere in this dressing room is great, we're all of similar age and have played together a lot. Sairaj Bahutule (bowling coach) backs our strengths and backs us 100%, he says feel free to try new things that you're sure about.

Arun Prakash: "Unpopular opinion: Axar Patel would have been a beautiful addition in the world cup. He should've been added as a back up to Hardik Pandya instead of Prasidh Krishna. Axar could've done the role of what raina did in 2011." Axar wasn't available because of an injury

KumarS: "Rinku is the Real deal!"

"Thought we would see a Matthew "Rinku" Wade." Girish being cheeky

10.32pm Plenty of fireworks go off in Raipur, it's SKY's first series win as captain and that will give him a load of confidence before flying out to South Africa. Handshakes all around, massive smile on VVS Laxman's face in the dugout, and Rinku and Axar are having a laugh together.

At the halfway mark it didn't look like a massive score even though this wasn't a belter of a pitch. The spinners got assistance even in the first innings, and Axar and Bishnoi combined very well for India too to not only take wickets, but also shoot the asking rate up for Australia for when the quick bowlers came back. The equation later was slightly similar to the last game, but the pitch was different, there was no Maxwell, not as much experience in the Australian line-up, and India emerged victorious despite a valiant effort from Matthew Wade. Ravi Bishnoi and today Jitesh Sharma emerge as massive positives for India in the lead up to the T20 World Cup next year in June. Jaiswal, in my view, is already ahead in the openers' race.

Avesh Khan to Wade, 1 run

full toss hit hard to deep midwicket and that's just a single, so India take the series with a 20-run win

Avesh Khan to Wade, no run

on the pads again and Wade flicks it hard to deep midwicket. They don't run

22 from two

Avesh Khan to Wade, SIX runs

doesn't matter how many in the deep on leg, Wade picks up that full ball on leg stump and almost sweeps it over the long leg boundary for six!

Avesh Khan to Wade, 1 wide

errs too much down leg and it's a wide

Jalan: "@Mukesh .. why texting between bowling ?"

Avesh Khan to Wade, 2 runs

133kmh, swinging late towards off, Wade drives through the covers and hares back for two

Only extras can save Australia now

Avesh Khan to Wade, no run

good ball on off, no room to swing his arms, and he drives down the ground and to long-off. They don't run again

Avesh Khan to Wade, no run

swings to the leg side off a length ball and finds deep square leg. Denies the single

Avesh to Wade. 31 needed from six balls. India fine on the over rate so five fielders in the deep

Mukesh Kumar to Wade, 1 run

drilled to cover, he takes off quickly and this will be tight! He slides to try and make it at the bowler's end and luckily for him it's not a direct hit

Will he settle for a single?

Mukesh: "Thank God, we don't have Maxwell today and also Prasidh Krishna"

Mukesh Kumar to Wade, 2 runs

nearly in the block hole and Wade tries to dig it out, and sprints back quickly before the throw comes in from long-on

Six off four so far

Mukesh Kumar to Wade, no run

Wade targets the covers again with the fielders spread on the leg side, but he finds cover this time

Wade back on strike

Mukesh Kumar to Green, 1 run

133.4kmh, full toss this time and he swings it down to long-off for one

Mukesh Kumar to Wade, 1 run

goes high off the leading edge but it falls well short of Axar running in from long-off. Fullish again, big swing but he didn't middle it

Mukesh Kumar to Wade, FOUR runs

late reverse swing around off stumps, it's too full and Wade has absolutely drilled that through the covers for four! Only long-off in the deep on off and he doesn't bother moving

Mukesh for his last, Australia need 40 off 12 so Wade has to do the heavy lifting. Yorkers or slower ones? Four fielders in the deep on leg side

excellent inswinging yorker on middle to end the over! That looked like reverse swing, and Green blocked it out to off

Avesh Khan to Wade, 1 run

almost a wide down leg, but Wade flicks it square for one

Avinash: "Good to see Chahar taking wicket with Old ball"

Avesh Khan to Green, 1 run

low full toss on the stumps, gives strike to Wade with a single to long-off

Green on debut, would want to give strike to the captain now

Uday: "Are India doing fine on over rate? Or do they miss out on a field in the deep in the final over?" We'll soon find out

Avesh Khan to Dwarshuis, OUT

off stump goes for a walk! Accurate and tight length ball on off, angling away perfectly after landing around middle and leg to beat the swing, and hits off after Dwarshuis backs away for a big shot

Ben Dwarshuis b Avesh Khan 1 (2b 0x4 0x6 4m) SR: 50
Avesh Khan to Wade, 1 run

in the block hole on off and Wade digs it out to long-off for one

Midwicket goes deep, deep point comes in

Avesh Khan to Wade, FOUR runs

135kmh, short ball, pace on it and Wade smacks that pull off the middle of the bat in the gap for four! Perfect start to the over for him

Avesh to bowl the 18th and 20th. 47 off 18 now

end of over 176 runs • 1 wicket

Deepak Chahar 4-0-44-2
Mukesh Kumar 3-0-33-0

Chahar was very expensive earlier but finishes with a six-run over

Chahar to Wade, 1 run

he settles for a single because it's very slow at 94.9kmh, and he drives the full ball down to long-on. Keeps strike

Will Wade want to keep strike or or big to end the over on a high?
