Thanks for joining us tonight. Hope you enjoyed the coverage. I certainly enjoyed bringing it to you. Until next time, it's goodbye from the commentary desk. Cheers!

Mahmudullah: We needed a good start, and the wicket played a lot better tonight, so we knew we had the batting to get there. The bowlers did well to pull back their total. Credit to Cooper and Al-Amin, and then later Seekkuge contributed as well. And then of course, the way Nafees and Sabbir batted was incredible. We know what Sabbir is capable of, and he proved everyone right today. He is a big match player. We've been playing good cricket as a team. One more game to come, and hopefully we'll step up there. We're happy as a team, but it will be nicer to win in the final.

Shakib: I think we put on a decent total, even thought I thought we were 10 short. Dew played a part in the game, I thought. Credit to Sabbir and Barisal for taking the game away from us. Everyone did their part, we gave it our 100%, it wasn't our day.

Sabbir Rahman has been named Player of the Match for his 49-ball 79, his second-best T20 score

kotireddy: " Barisal Bulls team reminds me of Rajasthan Royals of IPL. They didn't have big-ticket players, but made merry with the whatever limited enough stock that was available, hoping they would win the Final"

The Sabbir-Shahriar stand was the highest-ever third-wicket stand in three editions of the BPL so far. What a time to deliver.

Rayad Emrit: Gayle spoke to the team this morning. He said we've won without him, so tonight shouldn't be too different. Great to see the guys back themselves. We will celebrate, but the job is only half done. We have an important final coming up. Comilla have done well, so we will need to play well to beat them

Chris Gayle is set to leave for the airport later tonight to join his Big Bash League franchise. Are Barisal going to make an effort to stop him? The entire team has broken into song and dance. Terrific scenes at the Sher-e-Bangla!

What a mouth-watering final clash we have in store. Comilla Victorians v Barisal Bulls

Heartbreaking loss for Rangpur, but must admit Barisal have been absolutely clinical. They were chasing a big total. Didn't have the services of the Big Jamaican Chris Gayle, but Sabbir ensured they never fell back on the asking rate. They've now chased five times and won on each occasion.

low full toss on middle and leg, Cooper lofts it nice and clean over deep midwicket. Everyone was inside the ring, so once it was up and over the infield, that was headed only one way

shocking start to the final over. Low full toss down leg, he swings but gets a faint tickle that beats the wicketkeeper on the dive, into the fine leg boundary. Completely missed the length and is made to pay. Perera is disgusted

slower one outside off and he's nailed it. Fetches the slog from outside off and the ball is deposited deep into the deep midwicket stands. The owner is pumped. It was a slower one that went horribly wrong. That brings the game back into the balance

looks to get across and loft it straight but can't time it well as Perera, at long-off, comes around to take the simplest of catches. No power behind that whatsoever. The captain is gone. Is that the game?

Perera to Sabbir, OUT

this time, Sammy redeems himself at long-on. Wow, what a catch that is. Sabbir looks to go down town again, gets enough bat on it, or nearly. It was swirling in the air for a long long time, Sammy was running in from long-on initially but moves back quickly even as the ropes are lurking in the corner, he takes it cleanly but nearly overbalances, but has the presence of mind to balance himself nicely to pull off a stunner literally 1 millimeter in front of the ropes. He nearly fell over but managed to pull all his weight on his left leg to stay inside the field of play. Is that the catch that turns it? Sabbir has done his job. As far as catches go, I don't think you would have seen too many better than this. That can surely qualify into the 2015 catches of the year longlist, if ever there was one.

lofted cleanly but he nearly found the fielder at long-on, good effort by Sammy running in, on another night, he would have taken that. The ball was dying on him and he looked just a bit off as he got down on that one, what's worse is they take the second too. Thisara lets out a cry of anguish
