TKR turn things around big time to clinch a nail-biter. They were sharp with the ball and the captain came all guns blazing in the presentation. With three wins on the trot, things are looking good ahead of their home stretch. Tallawahs, on the other hand, need to sort out their batting on return. For now, they remain at No. 4 and could fall behind if Barbados Royals beat St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. Rvel Zahid will be in to bring you the action from that game, later tonight. There's WCPL game as well between Barbados Royals and Guyana Amazon Warriors, starting soon. Check it out. From here, it's goodbye from me, Ekanth, and our scorer, Harshith Gowda.

We wanted to get out of the powerplay with the ball. We had played three spinners in a day game and saw the ball spin yesterday. We knew once the field spread, we could squeeze them, the batters would have to go up against the breeze. Traditionally in the Caribbean, our batters are not inept (adept) at playing spin bowling I use that to my advantage and knowledge of having played for West Indies. Having said that, Waqar was brilliant. Akeal bowled three overs in the powerplay, Ali was phenomenal. It was good (to defend 51 off the last 5 without Bravo). Kudos goes to bowling coaches as well - Ravi Rampaul and Nikita Miller. They've worked well with our youngsters. Nothing pleases me more than bowlers coming out and showcasing their talent. Main thing was the bowlers sticking to the team plan. Thanks to the fans for coming out, they've been travelling. When we go to Trinidad, they'll come in. We wanna enjoy now and need to be on the button when the home games come thick. (2/2)

Kieron Pollard: Total team effort. I'm sure, at the halfway stage, people didn't give us a chance. But the belief that we have, way we fought in the second half was commendable. The state of the pitch (was the main cause for 61 dots that came during TKR's innings). We played a night game where the ball was coming on to the bat. Pitch was a bit slow. We were looking to go after the bowling. I'm not going to look much into the dot balls. You guys can analyse it, up in the commentary box. For us, getting two points was most important. We dug deep on a slow wicket, so we slowed down a bit and bowled. So, we can't fault the cricketers. We were able to muster 142 and that was enough. (1/2)

Brandon King: (On their bowling) Bowlers did excellently. They assessed conditions, chose the right deliveries and bowled them well to restrict them to 143. Brilliant debut for Pitman, he has been doing well in training, we thought we'd give him a chance this game and he came up trumps and got us big wickets in a crucial situation. We thought that it was a decent wicket to chase down 143. But it's a part of the game, a problem we need to address as it's been happening in the last couple games We need to go to the drawing board, have some deep discussions and figure out how to get better.

Waqar Salamkheil is the POTM for his 2 for 21 (No interview)

1:39pm: So many close calls. The wide calls given in Ali's last over. The wide not given off Russell's bowling, the singles available but not taken this over, and in the end, Tallawahs fall short by a whisker. They had a great powerplay with Brandon King taking off. Alex Hales couldn't match him but stayed put at the crease. Then, Salamkheil and Russell happened. Blackwood, Brooks, and Hales followed King, and within three overs, they'd lost four. Chris Green took them, tonked a couple off Russell in the penultimate over but fell off the last ball. Ali Khan had 12 to defend off the last, Imad tried to do it all by himself, he got Tallawahs close but not over the line.

Dan: "Think of the bye Akeal had in the last ball of 1st innings and did not bother to run. Almost cost his team the game."

Ali Khan to Imad Wasim, 1 leg bye

Ali Khan does it, he beats the slog sweep, hits Imad's pad flush and seals a two-run win for Knight Riders! It's the lowest total successfully defended by TKR in the CPL! Coming to the ball, Imad went across early and got a yorker that followed him. He went low and tried to sweep it behind square. Missed it, got it off the pad to the leg side. The bowler swooped in to stop it and jumped high to begin celebrations.

Final ball. Four needed. Super over seems unlikely. Ali Khan needs to ensure this isn't an extra. Hales can't look, he's hiding his face in the dugout. Ali wipes his hands dry. Here we go.

Ali Khan to Imad Wasim, FOUR runs

Full toss, slogged into the outfield. Russell runs to the left from long-on, he throws himself down and tumbles but can't stop the boundary. Imad keeps Tallawahs clinging!

Chants of TKR, TKR go around the ground.

19.4
Ali Khan to Imad Wasim, no run

Lbw appeal not upheld. Ali signals for the review as he finishes up. Pollard obliges. Might be going down leg but the bowler nailed another yorker, which is what's more important. Imad's front leg cleared out the way, he tried to blast a drive over straight mid-on. Missed it. As ball tracking loads, Bravo is in on the field to have a chat with Ali Khan. Ball tracking says impact is in line but would go on to slide down leg. Review lost but equation now down to 8 off 2.

19.3
Ali Khan to Imad Wasim, no run

Another yorker. This time it's at the pads, all Imad can do is work it to long-on. He won't take a run again! It's him or bust for Tallawahs. Ali's plan seems to be going for the yorker.

19.2
Ali Khan to Imad Wasim, no run

Ali goes for the yorker and gets it on a low-fully height. Driven hard but finds mid-off. Imad won't take a run.

Ali Khan to Imad Wasim, FOUR runs

Drilled through cover. Pooran charges to the left and dives at the deep but can't stop it. Ali went full and ended up overpitching it.

12 for Ali to defend. Around. Imad hasn't gotten going, can he now?

Russell to Green, OUT

Pooran dives in from long-off and takes it! Ball was full outside off, Green tried to tonk it over cover with the hard drive. Pooran ran to his left, went low and took it well. He threw it up in celebration as the fans jump in the background.

Goes for the wide yorker, hurls in a low fully outside off. Green digs out a cover drive, went to the left of the diving fielder, running from the edge of the ring. Man in the deep stops it

Russell to Green, SIX runs

Slapped... slashed... bludgeoned! Shortish ball angling away outside off, Green crouched and got the horizontal-bat slash out to go flat over extra.

18.3
Russell to Green, no run

Back of length outside off, angles away and is goes probably over the tramline. Green lets it go and, this time, the batter isn't happy with the umpire's call.

Bravo signals to Russell to change the angle, which he does

Low full toss just outside off, was there to hit. Imad went hard for the off/cover slash. Finds mid-off to the right. Imad is frustrated

Ali Khan to Imad Wasim, 1 wide

Not dissimilar, Imad has a slash and misses. This is a tad wider but still 50-50. Wide given again. Ali isn't thrilled. Imad isn't moving across the crease which might've helped him

Ali Khan to Imad Wasim, 1 wide

Imad lets it go, tight wide call given. Great wide yorker, maybe above the tramline if best. Probably just inside.

17.2
Ali Khan to Imad Wasim, no run

Yorker on sixth. Imad tried to jam it square or finer. Misses it. Imad's struggle won't cease if he gets balls like those.
