Superbly judged chase by the Blues. They cruised home in the end after striking trouble at 5/94. Usman Khawaja and Daniel Smith batted beautifully to bring home the points.

James Pattinson was simply outstanding for the Bushrangers with the ball posting the best figures by a Victorian in this competition's history. His 6 for 48 gains him man of the match honours but in four appearances for his state he is yet to win a game.

The Big Bash gives the Vics a chance to regroup. Both theses sides dominated the Twenty20's last season and also the Champions League in October.

Join us for the first big bash clash on Monday the 28th of December. From everyone at Cricinfo have a merry christmas and enjoy the cricket feast on Boxing day. Its the best day of the year. Bye for now.
